Day 3 - Photoshoots, Test film shoots, Travel

(As a note each post is from the previous day, posting the following morning)

Starting at sunrise, half the team took to a Lawless Designs photoshoot among cacti and mesas, while the other half started sourcing building materials for “Doorway of 1,000 Churches.”.

The team reconvened in a few hours and packed out to Zion for an all day location shoot. The devastating scenery providing a backdrop to red poppies, rainbow eyes and turquoise.

And today, our first test shots for the “Doorway of 1,000 Churches.”

Film has a way of turning a 15 hour work day into feeling like 10 minutes. Enjoy the moments that we were able to freeze.

Day 2 On Location

Location scouting, props and groceries of the week. Driving through the desert has always been one of my favorite past times. The landscape is so expansive - it allows the mind to open and claustrophobic thoughts fall away.

The uncluttered imagination.

Location scouting, like anything else, is a choice of give and take. Dreams, time, efforts, cost, man power - everything goes into it. We located a good option today for “Doorway of 1,000 Churches,” and additionally obtained several locations for photography shoots. Overall, a very productive and joyful day! I love this team.
